    Event Highlights

    Join the City of Winter Springs at Central Winds Park for a Celebration of Freedom presented by Duke Energy! This evening is packed with fun and excitement for everyone, featuring:

    1. Live Entertainment: Enjoy music performances from Rockit Fly and the Paradigm Party Band.
    2. Freedom Fling Toss: Head to the main stage at 8 PM for our Freedom Fling toss, presented by Chick-fil-A Tuskawilla. Join Mayor Kevin McCann and the Winter Springs City Commission for t-shirts and giveaways (while supplies last).
    3. Kid’s Zone: Sponsored by AdventHealth, the free kid’s zone located on the Central Winds Baseball Field includes bounce houses, face painting, carnival games, and a Fourth of July-themed photo booth.
    4. Firework Spectacular: Conclude the night with a breathtaking fireworks display at 9:00 PM.

    Food Trucks and Vendors

    The event will feature numerous local food and drink trucks and community vendors. Feel free to bring your own food and beverages in personal coolers, but please note that outside alcohol is prohibited.

     

    Parking Information

    1. Entrance: Access the event from State Road 434 and Central Winds Drive. Gates open at 5:00 PM.
    2. Handicap Parking: Available at Central Winds Park.
    3. Additional Parking: Designated areas around Central Winds Park, City Hall, and Winter Springs High School.
    4. Important Road Closures: Orange Avenue will be closed to vehicular traffic at the entrance to Central Winds Park. Central Winds Parkway will be closed north of the park’s entrance. Roads will reopen after the event.
    5. Safety Tip: Please lock vehicle doors and hide all valuables out of plain sight.

     

    What to Bring

    To ensure a comfortable experience, attendees are encouraged to bring:

    1. Folding chairs/Beach chairs
    2. Picnic blankets
    3. Water to stay hydrated
    4. Personal coolers (smaller than 6-pack size)

     

    Prohibited Items

    For your safety and comfort, the following items are not allowed:

    1. Drones
    2. Fireworks & sparklers
    3. Pop-up tents
    4. BBQs/Cooking devices
    5. Weapons of any kind
    6. Glass bottles and containers
    7. Outside alcohol
    8. Coolers larger than six-pack size
    9. Pets (except service animals)

     

    ALL BAGS AND COOLERS WILL BE SEARCHED PRIOR TO ENTRY
