Commissioner Victoria Bruce is once again hosting the next Tuskawilla Road cleanup, continuing an initiative that began in November 2024 to help beautify Winter Springs and promote a cleaner, healthier environment.

About the Adopt-A-Road Program
This event is part of Seminole County’s Adopt-A-Road Program, which involves residents in keeping local roadways and waterways free of litter and debris while promoting watershed awareness and stormwater education. Groups that adopt a road commit to cleaning it at least four times a year, attending a stormwater education presentation, and completing a storm drain marking project.
Schedule for the Day
11:00 AM – 11:30 AM: Meet at the New Covenant Church parking lot
11:30 AM – 1:30 PM: Clean Tuskawilla Road toward Trotwood Blvd
1:30 PM – 2:00 PM: Ice cream party back at the Covenant Church parking lot, compliments of Victoria For Winter Springs
Please note the group will not be at the church parking lot for the full duration, as volunteers will be out cleaning along Tuskawilla Road during the middle portion of the event.
What to Expect
Supplies including orange trash bags and safety vests will be provided. Volunteers are encouraged to wear bright colors for visibility and safety, bring water, and dress comfortably for working outdoors.

This initiative reflects an ongoing commitment to reducing pollution and fostering community pride across Winter Springs. Residents interested in doing more are encouraged to get involved in future cleanup efforts to help keep Winter Springs’ roads and waterways clean.
