Winter Springs parks are seeing real investment — and real results.
Below is an overview of recently completed work and improvements planned for the remainder of FY2026.
RECENTLY COMPLETED
Central Winds Park
Multiple improvements
✓ Beach volleyball upgrades are complete
✓ Athletic field rehabilitation is ongoing
✓ A New Comprehensive Parks Plan was adopted
✓ Parks Office Tower re-roofing, dugout re-roofing, and full concession stand refurbishment are complete
✓ ADA accessibility enhancements are complete — including new sidewalks and additional handicap parking to ensure our parks are welcoming to every resident.
Trotwood Park
Multiple improvements
✓ Tennis and pickleball court resurfacing are complete — providing improved playing surfaces for all ages.
✓ ADA accessibility enhancements are complete — including new sidewalks and additional handicap parking to ensure our parks are welcoming to every resident.
✓ New 500 sq. ft. Timber Frame Pavilion near the basketball courts is complete.
Torcaso Park
ADA accessibility enhancements
✓ ADA accessibility enhancements are complete — including new sidewalks and additional handicap parking to ensure our parks are welcoming to every resident.
Veterans Memorial
Enhancements
✓ Enhancements include a significant stormwater component, which is being evaluated by Clete’s team with a focus on evaluating the overall benefit to the stormwater system relative to the cost of the project in comparison to other priorities of the stormwater system Citywide.

Landscaping
Re-landscaping project beautifying green spaces for residents — completion expected before close of FY2026
COMING LATER IN FY2026
Dog Park Rehabilitation: Scheduled for May 2026 — pressure washing, resodding, and shade tarp replacements.
Park Signage: Park entrance upgrades with new updated signage planned system-wide.
Wildflower Planting: Native wildflower planting project planned at the Central Winds Park pickleball courts.
