Winter Springs parks are seeing real investment — and real results.

Below is an overview of recently completed work and improvements planned for the remainder of FY2026.

Dog Park Rehabilitation

Recent improvements at the Dog Park in Winter Springs include enhancements such as shade, lights, and new sod. These upgrades aim to improve the overall experience for visitors and their pets.

Trotwood Park

Tennis and pickleball court resurfacing are complete — providing improved playing surfaces for all ages.

Veterans Memorial

Enhancements

Enhancements include a significant stormwater component, which is being evaluated by Clete’s team with a focus on evaluating the overall benefit to the stormwater system relative to the cost of the project in comparison to other priorities of the stormwater system Citywide.

Re-landscaping project beautifying green spaces for residents — completion expected before close of FY2026

Replacement of Playground Safety Surfacing: Scheduled for August 2026 — Replacement of the existing playground safety surfacing at Trotwood Park with a new Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)-compliant Pour in Place (PIP) rubber surfacing system.
