The Susie Coffman Winter Springs Senior Center is one of the community’s most active gathering places, offering something for residents 55 and up nearly every day of the week. If you have not visited recently or are not yet a member, now is a great time to get involved.
About the Senior Center
Located at 400 N Edgemon Ave in Winter Springs, the Senior Association’s mission is simple: to provide a fun and safe gathering place for members of our community ages 55 and up.
Annual membership fees are $28 for residents and $74 for non-residents. Therapy pool memberships are also available at $40 for residents and $110 for non-residents.
Did You Know?
The center offers a therapy pool with structured classes throughout the week, including medium and low intensity sessions Monday through Friday, as well as open pool times.
Residents can sign up for therapy pool alerts to stay informed about class cancellations and schedule changes, including seasonal closures and open swim weeks.
Activities and Classes
The center’s weekly programming covers a wide range of interests and fitness levels. Highlights include Line Dancing, Cardio Fit, Strength and Fitness, Mat Yoga, Chair Yoga, Tai Chi, Power Stretching with Weights, and Sweating with Helen for those looking to stay active.
For those who enjoy games and creative pursuits, the center offers Bridge, Card Games, Mah Jong, Pinochle, Mexican Train, Ceramics, Art Group, Young at Art, Knit and Crochet, and Let’s Paint. Technology 101 classes are also offered for residents looking to get more comfortable with smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
Bridge is always looking for new players, so stop by during scheduled sessions to learn more.


Lunch Program
The center regularly offers a lunch program with affordable options, including full plates and individual sides. Lunch days and pricing can vary, so check with the center directly for current offerings.
Community Events
Throughout the year, the center hosts seasonal and holiday-themed events, special lunches, bingo, potlucks, and social gatherings for members. Day trips and outings are also organized periodically, offering members a chance to enjoy shows, dinners, and excursions together as a group.
