My father served as a Greater Boca Raton Beach Tax District Commissioner- Seat 2 in the late 80’s-early 90’s. I watched him while I was growing up, serving and growing the city. In 2012 (10 years ago) I lost my father. I dedicate this campaign to him. He taught me that you only get out what you put in. And I intend to serve the City of Winter Springs.
In 2009, I graduated from the Political Leadership Institute, which is where I met Former City Mayor of Winter Springs, Charles Lacey. Although I was just, 26 years old- I knew then; that one day I was going to be of service…
It was an absolute honor when the Mayor called me in 2018 to see if I would be interested in running for City Commissioner. Unfortunately, I had just sold my house- and I was moving into another district, and the timing was not good. Then in 2021, he called me again, and “checked my temperature” to run for City Commissioner. Again, honored and pleased to serve! Then many of the former City Commissioners for Winter Springs met with me and are now advocating for me. Just running this campaign is a dream come true. I hope you take a chance on me, and I will meet or beat your expectations.
I have a proven record of transforming organizations, small business, non for profit, etc.… I am organized, efficient, honest and open minded. There is nothing that I won’t do for the best intentions of the City of Winter Springs.
Please help me accept this challenge. Running against an opponent that has served 8 years will not be easy, which is why I need YOUR VOTE!!
